The Supreme Standard
A new standard for beauty.
The Supreme Standard is our framework for evaluating beauty products against scientific research, ingredient information, and the strength of the available evidence.

You should not need a chemistry degree to understand what you are putting on your body.
The Supreme Standard is not designed to tell consumers what they must buy. It is designed to give consumers clearer information so they can make informed choices.
We distinguish between established evidence, potential concerns, emerging research, limited evidence, and context-dependent risks.
This methodology is public and is updated as scientific evidence changes.
Established (consistent, high-quality evidence) · Emerging (early or growing findings) · Limited (few or low-quality studies) · Context-dependent (risk varies by formula, amount, frequency, or person) · Potential concern (signals worth attention, not yet conclusive).
1. Identify the product's claims and ingredients. 2. Find peer-reviewed research on those ingredients and claims. 3. Describe what is known, what is uncertain, and why it matters. 4. Publish the sources so you can check our work.
Supreme Beauty does not label products "safe" or "unsafe" in an absolute sense. Risk depends on formulation, concentration, how often and how a product is used, and individual circumstances. We evaluate products against our evidence-based criteria and communicate the strength and limitations of the available evidence.
